October Fall Waterfall Tour

This outdoor adventure features the waterfalls at Fall Creek Falls State Park and the spectacular beauty of Ozone Falls, Piney Falls and Lost Creek. Focusing on the beauty and history of these majestic falls, the tours include legends and folklore, and other educational and interpretive programs unique to each location.

TTU Miracle Superhero 5K

Cookeville is a college town and TTU proud! TTU Miracle is the Homecoming philanthropy for Tennessee Tech’s Homecoming Week where the campus comes together to raise money for Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Miracle Network Hospital at Vanderbilt. This 5K is meant to raise awareness to and involve the community in the “Big Event” that will be held on Homecoming weekend, Friday, November 2nd.
Pikeville Tennessee Fall Festival

This one features a Local Farmers Market, taste of Pikeville, food vendors, arts and crafts vendors, WWII re-enactment, Big Band Sound Orchestra, Face Painting, Kids Korner with petting zoo, games and hands on crafts, Banjo and Fiddle contest, Antique Tractor display, and car show! Don’t forget the parade at noon. Lots of fun all day! End the day with a fireworks show around 8:00!
Blues, Boos and Local Brews Fest

The Upper Cumberland Haunted Half Marathon

Enjoy marathons? Check out this the 10th Annual Marathon! Every year, a unique “haunted” themed finisher’s medal is presented to every runner who completes the full half marathon distance. And…The Blues & Brews Craft Beer Festival occurs the afternoon of the race so it’s kinda a win win.
WCTE Blues & Brews Craft Beer Festival
October 20th 12:00 – 5:00PM · Cookeville, Tennessee
The 5th annual WCTE Blues & Brews Craft Beer Festival will be held at Dogwood Park and will feature over 80 craft beers! The VIP Stein Social will be held from 11am-noon for VIP ticket holders. This will be a chance for beer lovers to mingle with the brewers and distributors before general admission. VIP tickets also include all day hospitality tent with several beer and food pairings changing throughout the day and exclusive tented seating. Blues music will be playing the duration of the festival & food will be available from local vendors. The Tennessee Home Brewers Association will be on site with samples and brewing demonstrations.
